#security Nigeria - Prison break in kogi state.

It is no longer news that Nigerian prisons have a very weak infrastructure. coupled with the the Boko Haram insurgents  in the country, a kogi state prison had144 inmates broken out and 1 inmate killed. 

The operation carried by supposed Boko Haram Gunmen yesterday being d 2nd of November a on the  Koton-Karfe federal prison in Kogi State, setting 144 inmates free. 1 inmate was reportedly killed during the break out. Reports from the prison state that 12 inmates who fled the prison have been re-arrested.

National police spokesman Emmanuel Ojukwu earlier of the prison attack said that there was the use of dynamite(s) in the operation.
The federal prison is said to hold Boko Haram fighters but Ojukwu insists that the attack was a mere criminal activity that isn't linked to the insurgents.
